NEW ORLEANS, La. - Senior Toccoa Kahovec was named to the United States Track & Field and
Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Cross Country All-Academic Team,
announced on Friday.

Honorees
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the
student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or
greater through the most-recent semester and placed in the top 35 at the NCAA
Regional Championships.
Kahovec placed sixth at the NCAA West Regional meet and 36th at the NCAA
National Championships to close out her cross country career. She is currently
a member of the Cal Lutheran track and field team and will compete for the
Regals this season.
This marks the third straight selection for Kahovec who place 18th as a sophomore
and 9th as a junior at the West Regional Championship meet.
Kahovec earned the All-Academic honor as a sophomore, junior, and senior for
cross country. She capped off last year's track and field season with an eighth
place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. She earned both USTFCCCA All-Academic
and All-America status as a member of the track and field team.
